Meet our Director of Youth Ministry, Tim Fennell.

Hailing from the sunny state of Florida, Tim graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in English before shipping off to England where he studied for a Master’s in European Historical Archaeology, focusing on the Islamic influence in Southern Spain and the Monastic Tithe Barns of England. After a few years in Europe, Tim moved back to the States and became an International Baccalaureate teacher, developing the curriculum and teaching English and Theory of Knowledge in Florida and Costa Rica. Most recently, he has been teaching Special Education and was the faculty advisor for the National Honors Society at Scarborough High School in Scarborough, Maine. During his time in Costa Rica, Tim started Christian Surfers Nosara and worked with Mercy Homes mission building homes for local Costa Ricans. For the past four years in Maine, he has been leading Young Life SouthCoast in Southern Maine, where he has built friendships with high schoolers while presenting the Gospel by going to where they are and earning the right to be heard.
