(Lisa Ruvo): Urgent prayer request for Luke, my friends grandson. He was feeling suicidal and told his mom and she took him to the hospital on Sunday. Since then it has been a nightmare for them all. There are no rooms so he has been on a bed in the hall since Sunday. The Doctor is giving him a hard time (he is over 18) about checking himself in for 5 days for a psych workup even though no one has talked to him about anything since he went in. No evaluation done at all.
He made an appt to see his therapist at 3:30 today but the Doctor refused to release him and does not seem to care that he has a therapist. He is threatened to file a 302 which would involve the police. After asking the Doctor to at least talk to Luke's therapist he said he has made his decision and he does not need to talk to anyone. Please pray that this Doctor will step away from his ego and release. Luke did the right thing by telling his mom and she did the right thing by taking him to the hospital and now he is caught up in the system.
