Sowers of the Kingdom – 2026 DR Mission Trips

Sowing the seeds of God’s love by partnering with those who serve Him. This is the mission statement for Sowers of the Kingdom (Sowers), which was founded from within HRC by Bruce & Ellen Pearson (who now live in SC).  Their ministry serves in the Dominican Republic, within the Samana peninsula.  They support seven different ministries:  a School, Construction, Home Visits, Medical Clinics, VBS, Baseball, and Dental Clinics.

For 2026 Sowers will have three regular week-long mission trips.

March 21st-28th
(with optional days of 3/20 and 3/29)

The primary focus will be Medical Clinics,
Construction, and Home Visits. Sign-up deadline is Feb 15th.

June 13th-20th
(with optional days of 6/12 and 6/21)   

The primary focus will be VBS, Baseball, Construction, and Home Visits.  Sign-up deadline is May 17th.

 November 7th-14th
(with optional days of 11/6 and 11/15) 
The primary focus will be Medical Clinics, Construction, and Home Visits.  Sign-up deadline is Sept 20th.
