5/23 (Sarah & Kevin Phillips): May 20 from Mike Reillly (HRC missionary with Samaritan's Purse): I’ve been home for a week, but now I’m heading out to Uganda for the Ebola Outbreak. So here’s a quick update about Saipan. The team of 60 plus saw:
-80 plus salvations
-An average of 55 patients seen at each of the Mobile Medical units(2) and the SP hospital
-An untold amount of water purified from the ocean.
-Thousands of tarps covering roofs
-Over 600 generators given out.
As for Rena, she just finished up another year teaching. She loves her students and it was hard to say goodbye.
Rena won’t be bored while Mike is away. She’s already signed up for classes in early childhood education. Even at our age there is a lot more to learn.
So, what can we say other than, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!

Doctor visits and blood tests have been inconclusive but show markers for inflammation. Perhaps some type of infection or autoimmune reaction. Michele and Barbara (Mom & Grandma) have taken her to Westchester Med this morning. Please pray for answers and proper treatment for Sophia and wisdom for the doctors who will be treating her. 5/21 (Carol OMalley): I'm very sad to share with you that MIke Hargraves (Pastor Michael Hargraves, Executive Pastor & Head of the Men's Ministry at Calvary Chapel Hudson Valley) who has been hospitalized the past three weeks in critical condition from injuries suffered in a fall from a ladder, passed away this morning. Please pray for the Hargraves family and also the church family at Calvary Chapel. This is devastating news. Pray for comfort and peace; may the Lord heal their hurting hearts and even in sorrow may the Lord's name be praised.

4/24 (Theresa Gerlach): Thank you for your prayers for discernment for my liver cancer treatment.
The tumor board met and I am being advised to continue with my systemic treatment and have scans again in July to see if the tumors grow again or remain stable.
We are trusting that this is the correct way to proceed and pray for God to take all cancer out of my body. He is the God of miracles, love, mercies and grace!
Please also pray that my blood cortisol levels that are low will return to normal once the steroids I get with chemo are reduced. Thank you.

4/21 (Theresa Gerlach): I am asking for prayers of discernment for the doctors at MSK that are supposed to review my medical case this week. The tumors in my liver have grown since my imaging in January and a different treatment may be necessary. We praise God that there are still some treatment options for me.
I praise God for his mercies in my life, especially these past 3 to 4 years. I have been able to live my life fully during my chemo and immunotherapy treatment which have kept the tumors in my liver stable.
Jeff and I also want to share a praise as our daughter Madeline and her husband Nelson had their second son, Theodore James Mejia, born on 4/15/2026, weighing in at 7 pounds and 19”.
He joins older brother Eli who is 21 months old! Everyone is doing well.

At 91, she was still sharing her love for Jesus and her faith in him to everyone she came in contact with! We were blessed to have her with us for as long as we did. We are thankful she is now at peace.
