4/24 (Theresa Gerlach): Thank you for your prayers for discernment for my liver cancer treatment.
The tumor board met and I am being advised to continue with my systemic treatment and have scans again in July to see if the tumors grow again or remain stable.
We are trusting that this is the correct way to proceed and pray for God to take all cancer out of my body. He is the God of miracles, love, mercies and grace!
Please also pray that my blood cortisol levels that are low will return to normal once the steroids I get with chemo are reduced. Thank you.

4/21 (Theresa Gerlach): I am asking for prayers of discernment for the doctors at MSK that are supposed to review my medical case this week. The tumors in my liver have grown since my imaging in January and a different treatment may be necessary. We praise God that there are still some treatment options for me.
I praise God for his mercies in my life, especially these past 3 to 4 years. I have been able to live my life fully during my chemo and immunotherapy treatment which have kept the tumors in my liver stable.
Jeff and I also want to share a praise as our daughter Madeline and her husband Nelson had their second son, Theodore James Mejia, born on 4/15/2026, weighing in at 7 pounds and 19”.
He joins older brother Eli who is 21 months old! Everyone is doing well.

4/20 (Doug Archer): My shoulder is getting better. I have started Physical Therapy (PT) and am driving the car again. I no longer use the arm sling. I have exercises daily and have PT twice a week. I have started sleeping in the bed for the better part of the night. Prayers to support me have been meaningful and I thank those who have prayed for me.
