(Nancy Herrmann): Thanks for your prayers for Steve's shoulder, he is still in a lot of discomfort but he was able to see Dr. Fauser yesterday afternoon who gave him pain medication and RX for an MRI. Please pray Dr Fauser does not get Covid, as Steve tested positive last night after my cousin called to say there have been numerous cases since her daughter's wedding we attended last Friday. I tested negative, most likely as a result of being able to get my booster back in August. Steve thankfully is not very sick, just like a regular cold, but this still feels so stressful, and Dr said to quarantine from each other for 10-14 days which is making it difficult to pack and accomplish other things regarding upcoming move. Please keep us in your prayers, we know this too shall pass. Thank you

She had to be hospitalized for a blood clot in her lung but is now home. Tim is not doing well and the doctors want to do dialysis on his one kidney now.
Also, please pray for Ruth. She took in a 4 yr old foster child whose Mom was killed in a car accident. This precious child is Riley.

He had surgery on this shoulder back in 1990 but it's been bugging him the last couple years. Apparently did something really bad to it today bc he NEVER wants to see a dr and after this happened, he asked me to find a good local "shoulder guy". We are moving in two weeks. Prayers are now needed for a successful stem cell transplant which will start on October 27th. It is a long process that requires Doug to be near NYU in the City for 3 months while the doctors monitor him for rejection.
Please pray for strength, stamina, and healing for Doug and his family during this process.

(Scott Quimby): Please pray for Michele and all the other healthcare workers in NY and CT about to be fired on 10/1 because they either will not or cannot take the COVID-19 vaccine for religious or medical reasons, but have been unfairly denied exemptions or accommodations. Michele also had COVID-19 so she is naturally immune, but she has been told in writing that immunity doesn't matter. Her doctors have told her that her kidneys will most likely fail from the shot based upon her past history, but they are too scared to write this due to threats from their employers that they can't write any exemptions - no matter how legitimate. Pray that God will make a way where there is no way to both keep people safe and make a reasonable accommodation to allow them to keep their jobs.

My doctor exam revealed that I do have glaucoma and the doctor is hopeful that it is early stages and has prescribed eye drops to be taken nightly for the rest of my life to keep the pressure down. I go back in 3 weeks . Prayers that my eyes will respond to the medication and that the pressure goes down.
