Carol OMalley..Update on Jim irvin
9/05/24. (Carol OMalley): Update on Jim Irving who had surgery yesterday. Sara reports that the doctor told the family that the surgery went well (almost 5 hours) and that Jim is doing great...really good for his age & everything. Sara said Jim had a big smile on his face. (That's our Jim!). Their daughter, Beth who is a nurse, stayed overnight w/Jim last night and Sara & their son, Andy, will be with him today. They will have to wait for the biopsy report to see if further treatment is necessary. Please continue prayers for healing, comfort, peace & strength. Also prayers that Sara can now get some needed sleep. And, of course, prayers of thanksgiving & gratitude for this entire procedure.

Also, Please pray for Jim Irvin who will undergo cancer surgery tomorrow (Weds, 9/4). Pray for the surgeon & medical staff attending Jim, for a very successful surgery, and recovery with no complications. Comfort and peace for both Jim and Sara.

8/21 Update on Jim Irvin: Jim had same day surgery on his bladder at 7:30 am this morning and is now home recuperating. The biopsy will probably take a week or more. Pray all is good. Then, the big surgery on his lower colon is Sept 4th. Please continue to pray for Jim & Sara. Thank you!

Carol OMalley Update on Jim Irvin
8/16 (Carol OM): First of all, thank you to everyone who prayed for Jim Irvin on the 14th, but please keep praying. Jim didn't have that surgery because a different problem came up & he needs surgery on his bladder before he can have the other surgery. The bladder surgery is scheduled for 8/21 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. Jim has to come off blood thinner meds for four days prior to the surgery and that is a concern, so please pray that causes no problems. The original gastro surgery will be scheduled again after the bladder surgery. Please pray for Jim & Sara as they go through these difficult medical situations, pray for the surgical procedures & medical staff, and post surgery healing. They truly appreciate your prayers. Thank you.
