5/15 (Claire Vigna): I was in a bad car accident yesterday and was hit hard from behind as I was stopped at a red light. The man admitted that he had been drinking. He kept begging me not to call the cops and then he’s going to get deported. My neck and upper back hurt and I’ve had a headache ever since. The ER took x-rays and said that everything looks OK, thank God, but the doctor said it’s possible that I could have a concussion and to watch for any signs of numbness. This accident really shook me up and my car is not drivable. Please pray that my back and neck will be OK and my headache goes away, that my anxiousness about this will lessen. I am trying to be thankful in this since we both walked away relatively ok.

5/3 (Carol OMalley for Norm Bell & son, Andy): Norm received word late this afternoon that Andy is in ICU where he lives in NC. He was recuperating from extensive abdominal surgery he had a couple of weeks ago. It appears that there is some abdominal bleeding now and the doctors are going to have to find out where/why. Norm and Gladys are leaving tonight to go to NC. Please pray for Andy, the medical staff treating him, and for traveling mercies and protection for Norm and Gladys. They are very concerned about Andy and really appreciate our prayers.
