Prayer Updates
(Carol OMalley): Leslie MacConnell is doing quite a bit better. No more problems with her kidneys/Covid, still has some abdominal pain and will be having an MRI on the 17th.
Kim Cogswell's son, Chris, had surgery on his leg on Tuesday. He has a metal plate, 8 screws & ligament repaired. He's doing much better, pain has improved. In splint now & will get a boot next week but no weight bearing for 8 weeks.
Ofe Napolitano and her family are all doing well now. Ofe had a difficult time with Covid for awhile but is back to work now. She's grateful for your prayers.

2/4 (Carol OMalley): Kim Cogswell's son, Christian, slipped on ice yesterday, fell and broke his fibula (outside bone of the lower leg) and broke and dislocated his ankle. Very painful, needs to see orthopedic doc for a cast and may have to have surgery. Chris, in his twenties, has gone through so much in these last two years with cancer surgeries and many treatments. Prayers for Chris and Kim, too.

Leslie MacConnell went to the Putnam Hospital ER this afternoon and is waiting to be seen for possible appendicitis. She went to MHRHC in Poughkeepsie but their CT scan machine was broken. They did a Covid test on her which has come back positive. She's been positive since the beginning of January. Please pray that doctors can diagnose her correctly and give her the proper treatment, whatever that is. Updates to follow.

A dear friend, Shirl, has had two surgeries on her knee. There has been an infection that is not responding to antibiotics. At this time the doctors do not know why. There is also discussion of a third surgery on this knee which would mean removing the knee until there was healing from infection.
Her first surgery was in October. She is now very discouraged and continues in great discomfort.
And Ofcourse all is complicated by Covid precluding her the support she would so benefit from.
Please pray for her knee and to know the power of prayer and who her God really is.

(Doug Leonard): Please pray for Appu, Lali, (Grandparents) Neorah and Sam (children). They lost their mother Vishal to breast cancer yesterday. Vishal was only 41. Appu and Lali have been RCA missionaries for their whole careers in Oman and Bahrain.
They are a wonderful and such a faithful couple. Vishal was their only daughter. She was a graduate of Northwestern College and Western Theological Seminary with her MDiv. She was a deeply committed Christian who did Christian Education. It's a very sad loss for them all.
The funeral is tomorrow in Michigan. Appu and Lali need prayers for their grandchildren. The grandchildren are not UD citizens so they may have to go back to India now. They grew up in the US and are US through and through. They don't know anyone in India. Please pray that they will be able to get green cards for the children. And pray that Appu and Lali will be able to gain custody of the children. Vishal was a single parent whose husband had divorced her. Thank you for your prayers.
