(Doug Leonard): Please pray for Appu, Lali, (Grandparents) Neorah and Sam (children). They lost their mother Vishal to breast cancer yesterday. Vishal was only 41. Appu and Lali have been RCA missionaries for their whole careers in Oman and Bahrain.
They are a wonderful and such a faithful couple. Vishal was their only daughter. She was a graduate of Northwestern College and Western Theological Seminary with her MDiv. She was a deeply committed Christian who did Christian Education. It's a very sad loss for them all.
The funeral is tomorrow in Michigan. Appu and Lali need prayers for their grandchildren. The grandchildren are not UD citizens so they may have to go back to India now. They grew up in the US and are US through and through. They don't know anyone in India. Please pray that they will be able to get green cards for the children. And pray that Appu and Lali will be able to gain custody of the children. Vishal was a single parent whose husband had divorced her. Thank you for your prayers.

Juliet Sweeney’s kidneys are in complete failure and she is hospitalized. Doctors say they will likely not work again. They anticipate 1 year of dialysis and then a kidney transplant. They have not confirmed a cause of this yet. Her husband Matt was housed in the HRC youth house while working for Young Life years ago. Prayers. They have young children. Very hard on them. TY

Carol OMalley update on MacConnells
Leslie is feeling better each day. Her headache is gone, her sense of taste is beginning to return, she's no longer sick to her stomach and the rest is coming along. She thinks the infusion is really doing its job. Leslie thinks if she continues making this progress her recovery will be much faster than the time she had Covid-19 almost a year ago.
Mark just feels like he has a cold and is doing much better.

Leslie had a confirmed diagnosis of Covid and she also has pneumonia. After sitting in the waiting room for hours Leslie was finally seen well after 10 pm. She received a monoclonal infusion at 3 am and got back home this morning at 6:30. Please keep lifting Leslie in prayer for a complete recovery.

(Carol OMalley) Urgent Prayer Request for Leslie MacConnell who is on her way to the ER with severe breathing problems. Leslie was quite ill with Covid back in March for over 40 days but she says she's feeling much worse now and suspects a return of Covid. Please pray for Leslie right now that the Lord will touch her lungs and ease her labored breathing.
