(Nancy Herrmann): Please pray for me as a routine annual exam with my eye dr has shown a Partial Thickness Macular Hole in my left eye. Most of you know I was born blind in my right eye so this is devastating news, as this condition normally worsens over time, affecting vision and then requires a very difficult surgery, which doesn't always work. Seeing retina specialist 9/26. Praying for a miracle.

She has a blood clot in her lung and a tumor pressing on a vein.
She is having difficulty breathing and is also weak from previous chemo.

Very grateful for the prayers for our son Jamie Snider. He was discharged from the hospital Sunday evening but has a long road of healing. Being immune compromised, he is at risk for infection. He will have surgery on his right wrist on Friday while continuing to heal from his skull and facial fractures and surgery. Please continue to pray for complete healing, successful surgery, pain relief, and that he remain free from infection. Thank you all.

From Beth Brofman : On Wednesday her daughter Ingrid, 35 weeks pregnant, went to her doctor with high blood pressure. They found the baby had a very low heartbeat. After monitoring she was sent home, but went back the next day where again the heartbeat was low. After several days of "it's Ok", "no it's not", it looks like Ingrid and Frank will be having their baby girl tonight. Ingrid has been given the drugs to help the baby's lungs mature, and they are waiting on that right now. They feel they will be better able to treat the baby after she is born. Beth is on her way down to DC to some things around the house and wait.

(Sue Nieves): Jamie Snider, son of Steve & Chris Snider, fell down the stairs at their home this afternoon. Jamie broke his wrist and the orbital bones around both eyes and his skull. He will be undergoing surgery this evening at Mid-Hudson Regional Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. Please pray for successful surgery and no complications. Their daughter, Rachel, is at the hospital with them.

(from the Web, Seth): My department at work has set up a new project management system, where they’ve designated me ‘Product Owner’ which is essentially project manager, who decides the criteria and scope of the project. It’s clear to me that we have powerful people who will want to completely overturn my role as Product Owner and change every project I do. If that happens, it undermines both the project and my position. Please pray that God will protect me, so that everyone will respect this position that has been assigned to me. Pray that I will be a successful project manager, and no one will undermine or overturn this position I’ve been assigned to. I can’t operate with the charade of a fake title or position. (Lisa Ruvo): Please pray for our dear friend Denny who will begin his stem cell transplant today. This is a 3 week process in which they will blast all of the cells out of his body and replace with new ones. He must remain in a sterile environment while the transplant process is completed.
I would ask you to keep him in your prayers and his wife Sue daily for the next 3 weeks. This is a long and stressful attempt to put his cancer in remission. Kim Cogswell's son, Chris Tenesaca, is still hospitalized after his latest cancer surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering but they hope he'll be home by Tuesday. He's suffered a lot of nausea and is on a very strict low-fat diet for awhile. Hopefully this will be the last surgery he'll have to have.
Sara Irvin is home and doing quite well after her gall bladder surgery. No lifting for a couple of weeks.
Eva Kara has started her chemo treatments. Some side effects (low white blood count) have her staying in and away from people for a little while.

Seizure was the first thing but now no speech and little motor skills. She is on a wait list to go to a children’s hospital that specializes in brain issues. Jubilee and family needs a lot of prayer .
