1/6 (Marina Smith): I need lots and lots of prayers for my husband Jerry. On 1/13 Jerry is scheduled for a lumbar drain placement. They will drain the fluid in the brain and then test to see if the result is positive, i.e. he starts to get back function. Once they see positive results they will place a shunt and resume draining. Please pray to our Lord that the surgeon sees results and that Jerry makes good progress. He will be in the ICU for at least 3 days. Thank you for your prayers. I don't know where we would be without them.

12/21 (Lourdes Kleid): Praise God. The diagnosis is TLE ( temporal lobe epilepsy) hers starts on the left side. Now they can give her the right medication. She can go home tomorrow! No answers as to why. It just is. but it helps Amanda understand her verbal confusion and issues trying to find words. A lifetime of meds but thankfully nothing that requires any surgery etc. A long year of prayers but He is faithful as is this church. Thank you.

She suffers from small bowel syndrome and it’s very difficult for her to get nutrients even though she’s on medication and weekly IV infusions . She’s in her 80’s. Please pray that Gods will be done for her. He knows what she needs.

12/18 (Lourdes Kleid): I have requested prayers for my daughter, Amanda throughout the year as she has been having grand mal seizures since October of last year without success of diagnosis. After exhaustive measures of different medication’s, and all kinds of testing, she will be going through a series of tests at Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. She will be going in tomorrow for five days. Although non-invasive testing’s, Amanda is super anxious so prayers for her to be calm through this process and as much as it sounds crazy, her epileptologist really want her to have a seizure during her stay. Thank you and blessed holidays.

12/17 (Web...Yolande): My friend Laura and I are writing to churches to ask for prayer for our sons David and Derrick. Both are alcoholics and struggle with staying sober for any length of time. My son David, is 38, married with 3 young boys. He is a believer yet struggles with binge drinking. My friend Laura's son is 43, never married and deals with anger and depression also a believer, but not following. They both feel remorseful with their choices, but can't seem to overcome drinking. Please pray our sons will get the help they need and one day commit to Keswick, a Christian rehab here in NJ. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
