Gene -- Lung Transplant
Gene was able to receive a double lung transplant (originally he was told it would only be one lung) on Saturday, March 2nd. He is currently under heavy sedation in the ICU and will remain there for about a week The surgeon told the family that "he has two beautiful lungs and that everything went exactly as it should!" Continued prayers that he continues to heal and that his body does not reject his new lungs.

His wife died of cancer just a year ago, so his passing means that his 19-year-old daughter Zoe is now without parents. I rented a garage for storage, had to vacate for repairs. Paid for 8 months to keep it pending repairs, always "soon". Owner sold it, I stopped paying. He expects me to pay for past 6 months to store a few things. I think he owes me for the previous 8 months he deceived me. I live on a small pension.
