(Pam Hansen): Update on my brother-in-law Doug Welbourn from my sister this afternoon. Thank you for your continued prayers!

Hi all,

I hope this finds you well and joyful. I don't want to monopolize your inbox, but I have had many asking about my Doug and what is currently happening.

As of this morning, he was on 4 L of oxygen. They had him down to 2, but when he got up out of bed, they had to raise it to 4. In lab work, a Covid number they are watching, labeled "d.imer " is trending down and that is exactly what they are hoping for.

He is feeling nauseated most of the time, so he is barely eating. He is totally wiped out and exhausted. He can hardly have a conversation with me on the phone, but we stay in touch every few hours. He is lonely and is hating this, of course, but he says that the people caring for him are very, very kind.

I have heard from many people that the hospital where he is has excellent credentials and reputation. I'm thankful. Also when I call the nurses and doctors they don't seem annoyed with me. When this is over, I'll definitely deliver a large platter of something delicious to that floor.

This is a journey we never expected to take, but we are grateful to have so many faithful praying friends and family by our side.

In faith, hope, and love,

Priscilla
